Lisa Hutchinson - Founder
Prior to setting up Sit Dance Australia, Lisa Hutchinson had worked as a professional dancer/entertainer & public Compere/MC, nationally & internationally for 28yrs. Lisa worked with some of the biggest names in Entertainment, live on stage and in film. For the last 6 years Lisa has worked in aged care and disability care as an AIN, then Lifestyle Coordinator for a major national aged care company. Lisa is trained in Dementia Care through University of Tasmania, Palliative Care and holds a current First Aid Certificate. Lisa is vibrant, passionate, energetic, and caring.

Our founder Lisa, having worked as a professional dancer most of her adult life is a passionate advocate of the healing power of music. Lisa has now studied dementia care and worked in the aged care sector. Lisa understands the benefits of music and movement therapy for our Seniors. Through Sit Dance Lisa has developed training programs to equip our SD Instructors with the knowledge and skills to deliver a fun, uplifting and beneficial exercise program to your residents or loved ones.
